VIP Rewards

the shop’s loyalty program · VIP Credits, and what they are worth

The short version

Skyland VIP Rewards is our loyalty program. Every pre-tax dollar you spend earns a VIP Credit. The credits add up across the counter and this website, and at certain totals they turn into money off. No card to carry. No app to install. The account is your phone number, and that is the whole system.

How credits are earned

An order only earns credits if your VIP phone number is on it. At the online checkout that means typing it into the Skyland VIP Rewards box before you pay. At the counter it means telling us. An order placed without it cannot be credited afterwards, and we have looked for a way.

What they are worth

Rewards are tiers, and each tier is a fixed amount off an order. Two the shop has run for a long time:

The tiers you can actually reach, with their exact amounts, are the ones the checkout offers you once it has found your account. Those come live from the register, so the list you are shown is the current one. If this page and the checkout ever disagree, the checkout is right and we would like to hear about it.

Using a reward online

  1. Put what you want in the cart and go to checkout.
  2. At the payment step, enter your VIP phone number and press Check.
  3. Your balance appears, along with any rewards you have enough credits for.
  4. Choose one and press Engage discount. The total updates before you pay.

You can also type your VIP phone number straight into the shop’s search box. It rides along to the checkout with you.

One discount at a time. A reward and a discount code cannot be combined on the same order, and the checkout will ask you to drop one. That is the rule, and it is ours.

Starting an account

Ask us. It takes a phone number and about ten seconds, at the counter at 2 Eagle Street or on the phone at (828) 222-4367.

If the checkout says no VIP account found for that number, that is exactly what it means. The number is not on an account yet, or it is on one under a different number. Either takes us a minute.
